Staples at home

  1. Date Syrup (Insert recipe). (Why dates are healthy sugar). We use date syrup as our standard sugar sweetener in as many recipes as we can. Cookies, brownies, chai, and so on.

  2. Flax Meal Egg Replacer - We replace this with eggs in recipes that actively need egg (frittata) to cakes, muffins, brownies and it works like a charm

  3. Fonio - We use this instead of rice (insert perils of rice and insert nutrition facts about Fonio)

  4. Jowar, Baja, Ragi - insert perils of rolled oat flour

  5. Coconut oil (insert info about chemical formula)

  1. Breakfast - Mark spinach pancakes (substitute oat with jowar and psyllium husk), Jowar Porridge, Besan pancake, Chia pudding, steel cut oats

  2. Lunch - Ragi dosa, Millet Dhokla, Rajgira Paratha, Dal Paratha, Moong Fonio Osaman, Dal Pakwan Nachos, Green Chutney with Sauerkraut, Cocojune

  3. Homemade probiotic - Beet 

  4. Dinner - Fish Tagine w Fonio, Enchiladas, Lasagna, White bean on toast with almond cheese, cashew queso 

  5. Snacks - Chickpea cookies, carrots w Tahini, roasted chickpeas with hummus

  6. Cakes - Date cake (Meeta bday)
